I pushed myself

I pushed myself last week. Remember that query letter I mentioned before?

 I wrote it.

That’s not the big deal for me.

I SENT IT OFF.

That’s right.

I wrote the letter (even the creative bit you’re supposed to throw in in the intro.).

I gathered all of the other stuff the magazine required in the submission guidelines.

Stuffed it in a big envelope along with a SASE.

Then I drove to the post office as fast as I could before I changed my mind.

I don’t know if I’ll get a hit or not.

But I’m proud of myself.

I had an idea. I developed it. And I attempted to try to sell it.
