How Many Novels Does it Take Before You’re Published?

Jay Fox recently wrote a book about graffiti called The Walls. It’s the fourth novel he’s written, but the first he’s published; it’s an e-book.

His story made me think about how many novels I might have to write before I really learn how to write one.

Last summer, I threw away one I wrote in college, so I guess I have three more to go. 


The funny thing is I might have to throw the one I started a few months ago away before I even finish it.
