Poetry reading and book signing by poet D. Nurske highlighting his most recent work, A Night In Brooklyn. Nurske is an award-winning author recognized by the American Academy of Arts and Letters, Guggenheim and National Endowment for the Arts fellowships, and as poet laureate of Brooklyn.
*The reading will be televised live at ODU's Tri-Cities Center in Portsmouth and Peninsula Center in Hampton.

- D. Nurske - Author of ten books of poetry, Whiting Writers Award winner, and faculty member at Sarah Lawrence College
- Renee Olander '87 - Poet, writer, editor, and longtime English and creative writing instructor for students of all ages
- Tim Siebles - Award-winning author of five collections of poetry including Fast Animal, a 2012 National Poetry Award Finalist, and Associate Professor in English & Creative Writing at ODU
