A Steve Jobs Quote

"You've got to find what you love. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle." ~~ Steve Jobs

I know everyone knows this quote.
I have heard it over a thousand times in just as many ways, and you have too.
But today I am stuck on it.
I am meditating on it.
I mean really studying it.

What will I do with this quote?

A writer has to have a purpose, not just for the piece she's working, either.
Most writers I've interviewed seem to be writing for the same purpose, despite which book, poem, or essay their working on. For example, Carole Boston Weatherford says she's interested in little known people and events in black history, and you see that whether you pick up Juneteenth Jamboree or something recent like Moses.

Will I find my purpose? Have I already found it? Have you?
